This involved manually navigating away from Vistral multiple times daily to access critical communication channels—specifically Gmail for client and contractor correspondence—and scheduling tools provided by Google Calendar. The repeated context-switching disrupted user focus, introduced friction in workflow, and fragmented communication across disparate platforms and browser tabs. These operational inefficiencies impeded productivity and introduced risks of miscommunication or delayed responses.

The Solution (How it works)

To address these challenges, a native integration for Gmail and Google Calendar has been developed and deployed directly within the Vistral platform. The integration enables users to access, compose, and manage emails alongside their calendar events without exiting the application where project-related tasks are handled. The step-by-step workflow is as follows:

  • Users initiate connection by clicking a singular 'Connect' button found within their Vistral profile interface.
  • This action triggers a secure authentication process that links the user's Google account to Vistral, maintaining strict compliance with data privacy and security standards.
  • Upon successful connection, the entire Gmail inbox is embedded into the Vistral workspace, presenting emails with native-like functionality.
  • Simultaneously, the user's Google Calendar is integrated, allowing for full visibility of scheduled events and the capacity to create or modify appointments.
  • All operations related to email and calendar management are executed in-app, obviating the need to toggle between multiple applications.
