Context & Problem
Tenant qualification at scale needs a tuned conversational flow (tone, questions, partner handoff) before we expose it on the channel where it will run in production. Testing straight on the tenant-facing channel raises risk and slows iteration if the script or handoff are not yet validated.
Solution
We added Slack as a channel for the first version of the Rental Qualifier (Qualibot) to test with the team in a controlled environment.
- Invocation via mention or DM in Slack.
- Thread-aware context for the conversation.
- Same agent core as the rest of the platform. WhatsApp as the target channel for tenants remains on the roadmap; Slack does not replace that end state.
Expected impact
- Faster iteration on script and handoff with team feedback.
- Lower risk when we later open the same flow on the mobile channel.
- Inherited model and tooling improvements from the shared core.
