New Database View in InvestMap: direct access to granular records with filters and export.

Context and Problem
The more analytical profiles in the team needed access to the granular data behind each zone metric: supply listings, comparables, transactions and the records that feed the KPIs. Until now, that access required asking the data team for exports or navigating views not designed for ad-hoc analysis, which created dependencies and slowed down deep-dive analyses.
The Solution: Database View in InvestMap
We added a database view inside InvestMap that exposes the underlying records powering the platform through a table-style experience.
- Granular data access: the user can directly query the records (supply, comparables, transactions) that sit behind each aggregated metric.
- Filters and sorting: filters by zone, typology, price ranges, m² and date, along with column-level sorting to surface what matters in seconds.
- Native export: results can be exported for external analysis when needed, without going through the data team.
- Same source of truth: the view is built on the same centralized data as the rest of InvestMap, guaranteeing that what you see in the table matches the zone views, comparator and reports.
Expected Impact
- Self-service for analytical profiles: analysts stop depending on one-off exports and can iterate directly on the platform.
- Less load on the data team: routine queries are solved inside InvestMap, freeing capacity for more complex problems.
- Traceability and trust: seeing the data behind the metric reinforces confidence in the KPIs shared with investment and leadership.
- Foundation for new capabilities: the database view is the foundation on top of which we will build advanced views (segmentations, alerts, scoring) in upcoming iterations.
